How to send a direct message

To send a direct message to someone on DESIRIY:
1. Open the Messages tab.
2. Tap the compose icon.
3. Search for the person you want to message.
4. Tap their name to open a conversation.
5. Type your message and tap Send.
You can only send messages to people who follow you, or who have their messages set to Open. If someone has restricted their messages, you will not be able to initiate a conversation.
Messages are end-to-end encrypted between you and the recipient.
